Welcome to School #5

  • 5th grade students from Dunkirk School #5 recently met up at the local theater on a Saturday afternoon.  The class watched the newly released movie, Wonder, based on the best selling novel they have been reading aloud in class. The book is about a 5th grade boy who faces challenges due to physical disfigurement.  The story ties in wonderfully with character traits that are being reinforced and practiced throughout the school year.  An area organization, the Dunkirk Firemen Exempts Club, made a monetary donation for all students in the class to receive a movie ticket.
